For this work I wanted to base my statement off the idea that, it seem as if now people are always to uptight about every little thing that I going on in the world. I wanted to push the message that is it not only ok to but its good for people to take a step back from all that's happening and breathe. It allows for the person to calm themselves down and take a mindful moment to themselves, ideally this can allow the individual to realize that their struggles are temporary, not terminate and that they will pass with time. I drew inspiration from the outdoors and vintage national park posters for the background image as I believe that being outside in nature is the best and most optimal for achieving a relaxed state. With my current Illustrator skill I found it difficult to really put and make details in the background that didn't look silly so I decided to stick with a simple format without much detail. 2-13-24 Owen Hudkins When creating this logo I wanted to keep it simple enough so that It could be shrinking down to smaller sizes or blown up to large sizes. I like the black and white one the most, as I fell it is the simplest and most elegant looking. When designing I did not want to just use the basic fonts that are already in illustrator, so I was determined to create my own font for the letter O and H, I believe that it came out nicely with the O being obviously placed on top of the H, while also having some separations between where the two letters would touch. That was probably the most difficult and tedious part of the whole project, getting the parts of the H to war around the O while also still maintaining the scrip took was a struggle, but I believe it came out nicely. The inspiration came from golf courses around the country who have distinctive logo, while simple in design they are all recognizable for their own uniqueness.
